UW-Whitewater professors James Hartwick and Eric Compas are walking from the UW-W to Madison to deliver a letter from the faculty to legislators. They plan to arrive Saturday morning around 10:30 am.

March 25: The guys walked from Cambridge to the east side of Madison today, and they're safe and sound at a colleague's home. Here's a pic I snapped of them today as they arrived at the outskirts of Cottage Grove:
They'll leave the East High School parking lot tomorrow morning at 9. Jon Erpenbach, Andy Jorgensen, and Brett Hulsey will meet them at the Capitol around 10 am. Hope you can join us!
March 24: They walked 20 miles today. They left Whitewater around 8:30, arrived in Fort Atkinson for a lunchtime rally on the Main Street Bridge, and then walked on to Cambridge. Here are a few pics...
