Jump around

I went out shooting with Chris Norris earlier this evening -- he suggested Tenney Park and the location was perfect. We were wanting to experiment around with the sun, rocks, and our small strobes, so we tried all kinds of stuff. And we convinced a passer-by to pose for a few shots -- here's one of my favorites.

For my last shot I turned off the lights to go for a silhouette effect. Here's Chris leaping across Lake Mendota in a single bound:

By the way, with this and the past couple of posts I'm trying a new way of displaying images here on the ol' blog. I'm posting them to my website and then linking to them, rather than uploading them via the blogging software. I think they look much better this way -- clear and sharp!
